911 Service “Never Forget”

On September 11, 2019, DA Kat Copeland joined law enforcement, elected officials and members of the community at Rose Tree Park to honor and pay respect to those whose lives were tragically lost on September 11, 2001. “For firefighters, police, and first responders, September 11th set a precedent for how we think about you,” said District Attorney Kat Copeland. “First-responders, with cast iron spines, selflessly rushing into disaster. While that has always been true, seeing the counter-intuitive flight into the heart of two steel infernos that day, you were our new heroes. You taught us lessons we would need to navigate the challenges of the coming darkness, and we are forever grateful for the sacrifices you’ve made to protect others.”               Thank you DA Copeland and County Council for never forgetting’
