Thank you to Tracy Price and all the organizers of the Italian Heritage Festival for naming the Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation and the Firefighters & EMS Memorial Foundation as two of their charitable organizations for this year’s festival at Rose Tree park. We would also like to thank them for giving Rich Heffernan (President of the Firefighters & EMS memorial) and Jim Reardon (President of the Law Enforcement memorial) the opportunity to talk about the memorials, how each got started, and their mission. It was a very nice time.

Aston Abbey Funraiser 2019

What a way to kick off the Aston Abbey 2019 “Thin Brew Line” fundraiser!

A big thank you to Chuck, Sue, Ryan, and the staff at the Aston Abbey for allowing the DCLEMF hold its’ monthly meeting at the brew company on April 11. We were able to sure up the itinerary for the “Day of Remembrance!” We are looking forward to May 8, 2019.

Please visit the Aston Abbey and support the “Thin Brew Line.” Remember, $1 from every beer sold goes directly to the foundation. The fundraiser goes through-out  the summer.

Thank You Barnaby’s & Freeze Fest!

On Saturday February 9, 2019, it was cold outside, but everyone was warm inside at Freeze Fest 2019. The foundation would like to thank Barnaby’s of Ridley for inviting us again to their annual Freeze Fest event. Their generosity is one of the reasons that DCLEMF can carry on with our mission to “Never Forget” those who made the ultimately sacrifice!

A Big Thank you to the Aston Abbey Brewing Co.

On December 14, 2018, the owners from the Aston Abbey Brewing Co. presented a check to the foundation from the “Thin Brew Line” fundraiser they held during the summer. The foundation thanks you guys and look forward to working with you in the future.                                                  Please stop by and support our friends at the Abbey!

The Ride to Remember a Big Success

On Sunday September 30th, 2018, the foundation held its’ 5th annual “Ride to Remember” motorcycle ride. The event was the largest attended yet. The weather was great, the food was delicious, and everyone had a great time! Thanks to Radnor Police and Upper Darby Police for the safe escort!

Thanks goes out to all our riders with a special thanks to the Centurions MC Club. Their fundraising efforts made the event a big success.
